Rochester Man Breaks Into Home Of 99-Year-Old Grandfather

Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester man was arrested Tuesday after he reportedly broke into an apartment and stole a gun, some medications and a phone.
The victim who called police is the suspect’s 99-year-old grandfather.
Police were called to an apartment near Mayo High School around 10:45 AM. The victim said he had discovered 34-year-old Andrew Jones in his apartment a few minutes earlier. The victim said Jones had used a ladder to reach a window where he cut the screen and climbed inside. Jones left on foot.
Officers found him nearby and he was taken into custody.
