Rochester Man Gets Prison for Gun Assault
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester man has been sentenced to 3 years in prison for assaulting another man with a handgun.
29-year-old Christopher Watson was sentenced Monday after he entered a guilty plea to a second-degree assault charge as part of a plea agreement that led to the dismissal of 3 other felony charges stemming from an incident that occurred in November 2017.

Watson was arrested after officers responded to a report of shots being fired outside a northwest Rochester home. The criminal complaint stated the gun discharged while Watson was striking another person on the face with the weapon. There were no injuries as a result of the gunfire.
