Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester man was recently ticketed for violating the city’s seasonal parking ordinance.
Not one ticket - five.
The tickets were issued to 52-year-old Amir Sabackic on Feb 1 and Feb 7. A Rochester Police Dept. spokesman says they involved 5 separate vehicles.
Sabackic has entered a not guilty plea to each citation. No court hearing date has been scheduled yet.
Each ticket carries a $35 fine.
A petition asking the City Council to revisit the ordinance was started last month.
News update: The coldest temperature ever for Feb 13 in Minnesota was recorded Saturday.
