Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - New population estimates from the U.S. Census show the Rochester Metropolitan Area now has the 203rd largest population in the nation at just under 220,000 people.

Since the last Census in 2010, Olmsted County has added about 12,000 residents, which has pushed the population up by about 8.3-percent.
