Rochester Native To Appear On American Idol (Possible Spoiler)
WARNING THERE IS A POSSIBLE SPOILER AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS ARTICLE.
I have heard from friends that have auditioned for American Idol that try-outs are daunting. Contestants go through several rounds of interviews/auditions with producers before they are even considered for the show. If they're a talented enough or producers think they're an entertaining character they advance to perform in front of the judges.
According to screenrant.com, "Approximately 100,000 people audition for American Idol each season in hopes of emulating the kinds of careers that Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood and Jennifer Hudson have established." A Rochester native is chasing that dream this year.

POSSIBLE SPOILER - STOP SCROLLING IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW.
Heavy.com published an article on the top 59 contestants - these are the people that are featured during the showcase round in Hollywood - and, Elli's name is on the list!
The article lists Elli as one of the Top 10 female performers, but does say, "Take each name with a grain of salt, as there is a possibility that some of the spoilers are incorrect or inaccurate."
