Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Rochester police continue looking for a man who was pursued by several officers early Friday.

A patrol officer was the first to have contact with the man. The officer tried to make a traffic stop of the car the man was driving near the Boys and Girls Club around 12:30 AM Friday but he refused to pull over and took off at a high rate of speed. The officer broke off the pursuit after a few blocks.

The car was spotted by another officer a short while later near the Crossroads Shopping Center. He was later spotted in the Elton Hills neighborhood and still refused to stop. He eventually parked and took off on foot. The car was still running when an officer found it.

Officers also talked to two men who said they were passengers in the car.

Both identified the driver as a Rochester man.
