Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester woman is facing aggravated robbery and assault charges connected to an incident reported to police in August.

A woman reported being attacked the night of Aug 4th while getting out of her car in the 600 block of Northern Hills Dr. NE.

The victim told police her female attacker was dating her ex-boyfriend and had been “constantly messaging her on social media harassing and writing nasty things to her.” The victim identified the woman as 25-year-old Desirae Frank.

The victim said Frank ”grabbed her by the hair and pulled her to the ground, causing her to land hard on her tailbone area, and her head slammed into the pavement.” The victim said Frank then began “kicking and punching her multiple times in the head, face, and body.”

The victim’s wallet was taken during the assault.  She told police she wasn’t sure if Frank or another woman who was with her took it. It contained $200 in cash.

The victim was able to drive home and a friend helped her go to St Marys Hospital for treatment of her injuries. A police investigator later noted the victim had “multiple bruises all over her body.”

Frank has been ordered to make her first court appearance in November.
