Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester woman is jailed this weekend on felony drug charges following a police raid on a home within a school zone on Thursday.
Lieutenant Mike Sadauskis says 40-year-old Schiann Towle was arrested after police executed a search warrant and confiscated just under 10 grams of meth from a residence next to Sunset Terrace Elementary in northwest Rochester. Police also found 5 people inside the home, including a 2-year-old child.
Towle is expected to be charged with 2nd-degree felony drug sales inside a school zone and a 3rd-degree charge for possession of drugs in a public housing zone, along with another count involving the storage of illegal drugs in the presence of a child.
