Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Rochester’s historic Chateau Theater is opening to the public again.

The first exhibit at the theater since it underwent a major renovation will open to the public Saturday. This will mark the first time the Chateau has been open to the public since 2014 when the Barnes and Noble store at the site shut down.

The exhibit will also be a first in Minnesota. It will be the state debut of The Magical History Tour: A Beatles Memorabilia Exhibition.

The Chateau will open to the public at 10:00 AM Saturday following a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9:30.

Exhibits Development Group is now the manager of the Chateau  EDG CEO Amy Noble Seitz says, “We can’t wait to introduce the Rochester community to the all-new Chateau experience and share this incredible exhibition. We look forward to delivering on our promise of bringing exceptional, one-of-a-kind arts and culture to Minnesota. I am very proud of the work that has gone into this reopening and I couldn’t be more thrilled to invite the community to join us.”

According to EDG, “This exhibit will take visitors on a journey through the eyes of John, Paul, George, and Ringo, offering guests the opportunity to retrace the steps of the Beatles with one of the most comprehensive private collections ever assembled.
