Seeing itself at the center of some unwelcomed recent controversy, the social media company hopes a rebranding will invigorate its image.

It took 47 years for a name change to even be considered by the retail giant, but this February some changes are coming to Wal-Mart's throughout the nation and Rochester.

The name Mayo Civic Center will remain and some of the internal venues of the facility will be renamed to further recognize the contributions and legacy of the Mayo Clinic and the Mayo brothers.

Dear Rochester, You're not the only one with questions as to why Mayo Civic Center is changing its name.
