Tornado Watch For SE Minnesota; Tornado Reported in Iowa
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A severe weather threat facing residents of southeast Minnesota, northeast Iowa, and southwest Wisconsin now includes a risk of a tornado.
The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for the region through Friday evening.
At 6:00 PM Friday, the National Weather Service in La Crosse issued a

Southeastern Floyd County in north central Iowa...
Southwestern Chickasaw County in northeastern Iowa...
* Until 700 PM CDT.
* At 608 PM CDT, a confirmed tornado was located east of Marble
Rock, or 8 miles southwest of Charles City, moving east at 30 mph.

There is also a continued threat of strong winds, large hail, and heavy rain that will continue into Saturday evening.
The Weather Service says “ An active weather pattern continues through the weekend with additional rounds of storms expected across the region. Strong to severe storms will be possible at times with torrential rain, damaging winds, and hail. Heavy rain rates could lead to urban flooding.”
