Voice of ‘All I Want for Christmas Is You’ – Lisa Layne

After every Thanksgiving, we start playing some classic Christmas songs on Quick Country 96.5. One of my 'must-play' songs is the 'All I Want for Christmas Is You' by Vince Vance and the Valiants. Ever wonder who's singing lead vocals? The song was recorded in 1989 and, quite honestly, didn't do well on the charts, peaking at #55.

That doesn't matter, because that song will always be #1 in my book. The lead singer on the song is Lisa Layne. Lisa's band tours and she really does a mean Patsy Cline. Take a look at the original video and take a look at Lisa live. She really nails it!
