Your groceries. Delivered to your house. The day you order them. In is little as 3 hours. Tell me more!!

Walmart just made the big announcement today. They will be expanding the delivery service in 100 metro locations - more than 800 stores. While we haven't confirmed that Rochester is one of the initial locations to receive the service, we do know that it will be soon. According to MSN, Walmart is being "aggressive" with the rollout, and wants to make it available to all U.S. shoppers.

Walmart will charge a flat fee of $9.95 for delivery and require a minimum order of $30 to access the service. How it works? According to the Wall Street Journal, "online grocery orders will be packed in a Walmart store by company workers and then handed off to a delivery company (Uber) or startup that uses contract workers to bring orders to homes."

This news follows Amazon's same-day grocery delivery service. Costco and Target also offer delivery in several cities. Locally, Hy-Vee delivers for free on orders over $100.
