What Happens When You Meet The Incredible Casey Trom
You've seen her rock out Deer Creek Speedway! Still don't know her? Meet the incredible Casey Trom! As I hung out at the Home, Vacation & RV Show this the fairgrounds this weekend with Home Solutions Midwest, I noticed a giant black and pink sparkly car - then quickly recognized it wasn't an ordinary car. It's a car that tears up the dirt track every season!
The #77 is driven by 22-year-old Casey Trom from Zumbrota. She's been racing since 2008! Casey, her friends, and family, were representing Deer Creek Speedway at the show this weekend. You've seen her take over the WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds. This season, she's ready to go again!
Oh, and she was nice enough to let me sit in her car! How cool is that!!???
She truly is a champion! In 2012, Casey became the first female in 54 years to win a dirt track championship in southern Minnesota.
When Casey isn't racing, she's busy studying. Yep, she's a hard-working Midwest girl! Currently, Casey is a student at RCTC.
Casey, we'll see you on the track this season! (Keep an eye on our website for upcoming Deer Creek Speedway dates where you'll see us!) Good luck girl! It was awesome meeting you!!
