Wear Pink And Join Us For The Races At Deer Creek Speedway

The engines are revving and we will be seeing a lot of pink at the track...and it is all for a great cause! Deer Creek Speedway is teaming up with Join the Journey for a fun night they call "Pink Out!" on Saturday, June 22nd. It's an amazing night where everyone is there for one cause...supporting breast cancer survivors!

You probably have a few questions about this event, so here is a little FAQ just in case you are needing some more info:

Where is Deer Creek Speedway? Racetrack and campground is located at 25262 Highway 63, Spring Valley, MN 55975.

Who is Join the Journey? This is a non-profit in the Rochester area that has been helping breast cancer survivors and their supporters since 2005. Here are a few of their programs and how to get connected:

Every day, Pink Ribbon Mentors from Join the Journey are at Mayo Clinic providing resources, a listening ear and hope to individuals that are being treated for breast cancer.
You can also find Join the Journey at Silver Lake every Wednesday in the summer with their Making Waves Dragonboat team.
Several support groups are also available for breast cancer survivors and other activities that provide a benefit, like the creative support series where participants use various art forms to creatively express thoughts and feelings during the breast cancer journey.
