You've heard the old line about how mosquitoes are so prevalent here in Minnesota that they should replace the loon as our state bird, right? They seem to be everywhere! But just why is it that those annoying 'skeeters seem to bite some people more than others?

I'm pretty lucky in that mosquitoes don't seem to bother me as much as they do other folks. Like, say, my wife. Mosquitoes always seem to be more attracted to her than they are to me.
