Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - The man charged with driving drunk through a stop sign at a high rate of speed and causing a deadly traffic crash in Rochester earlier this month made an appearance in Olmsted County Court on Tuesday.

20 year old Akili Scott faces 3 counts of criminal vehicular homicide and 9 counts of criminal vehicular operation in connection with the November 10th crash that claimed the life of 23-year-old Kayla Cunningham.

During Tuesday’s hearing, Scott requested an evidentiary hearing, which was scheduled in early February. The judge in the case also agreed to set conditional bail at $150,000. He had the been held on unconditional bail of $250,000.
