The 4th of July Holiday Weekend 2017 is already in the books, and I had a fantastic time. Did you get out and enjoy yourself celebrating our nation's birthday? Here's how I spent my time...

We got the holiday weekend underway Saturday morning just as our founding father's did-- by pressure washing our house. I'm sure George Washington and Martha powered up the pressure washer to clean things up at Mount Vernon, didn't he? Good times!

Sunday, we headed over to the Mankato/Waseca area to enjoy some time with friends at their lake property. It was a blast! My wife, Katie, and I hopped on the tube and tried to hang on for dear life as they flew us around Roemhildt Lake!

We headed up to the Twin Cities to enjoy a holiday get-together with family on Monday, complete with several high-intensity games of bocce ball, bags, and Uno. (Yours truly was the Uno winner, by the way.)

On the 4th of July, we headed over to enjoy some time in the pool at friends' house here in Rochester before tossing some steaks on the grill. It was a great weekend. Here's what it looked like...
