It sure felt like fall this past weekend, didn't it? And while there wasn't a bonfire or football, I still enjoyed those cool temps. Here's what it looked like:

My Friday started off on a celebratory note, as one of my co-workers, Rich Peterson, did his last morning show on our sister station, KROC-AM, before retiring. I think it was a coincidence, but the big metal call letters that used to be on the front of our building were mysteriously taken down Friday as well. Seem kinda symbolic.

Saturday, we were having some friends over, so while running some errands I noticed a street light in our neighborhood that really tied one on Friday night!  We did an online wine tasting Saturday night, and sampled four different wines which we learned about by watching a video online. (There might also have been a few other beverages sampled, as well.)

While it rained early Sunday, it was a good time to get a quick nap in with one of our cats, Huck. He also got some time out in the backyard as we 'harvested' some more green beans from the garden before grilling out some jalapeno/chipotle cream cheese burgers.  Thanks for checking out the pics!
