Curt’s Ugly Sweater Weekend in Five Pictures

The holiday season is in full swing, and I'm proud I won my first Ugly Sweater Contest this weekend!

First, while doing some shopping on Friday, I noticed this cool white Christmas tree. Of course, upon closer inspection, I found all the ornaments on it were purple and gold-- a Vikings tree! That, of course, made me pretty certain the Vikes would win again on Sunday.

Saturday, we headed to an Ugly Christmas Sweater Party with at some friends' house in Eagan... and my ugly sweater won! (I'll be wearing it this Saturday during Rochester On Tap, in case these pictures don't do it justice.)

One of the prizes for winning the Ugly Sweater Contest was a cool Ugly Sweater coffee mug! I'm using it already this morning!

On Sunday, we kind of laid low and didn't do a whole lot, other than our usual grocery shopping. We did, though, fire up the grill one last time before it gets really cold this week! Here's what it looked like...
