There's been a lot of talk about norovirus lately . . . at least since entire cruise ships full of people started getting infected with it.

But now scientists say eating THIS food could help make sure you don't come down with a nasty case of norovirus.

(If you're not aware, norovirus is a very contagious disease that can cause horrible vomiting and diarrhea among ailments. It's been found on several cruise ships recently, and certainly doesn't sound like a good time.)

Well, here's the good news:  Scientists at the University of Arizona think they've found a way to help prevent norovirus from infecting you.  And it sounds like just about the eastiest medical advice to follow ever.

What do the experts recommend? Eat pizza. Really. That's it.

The team found that a chemical in oregano oil called carvacrol might be able to help prevent norovirus from spreading.  Oregano oil is used to give pizza its flavor and smell.

So before you go on a cruise, eat pizza.  Lots and lots of pizza.   And even if you're not going on a cruise, eating a slice or two can't hurt, can it?
