Head To The Races This Saturday at Deer Creek Speedway

It's just not summer here in southeast Minnesota without a trip to the races at Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, and Quick Country 96.5 has your free tickets to Saturday's races!

That's right, Saturday is Double Down Driver Recognition Night at Deer Creek Speedway, featuring the USRA Modifieds and B-Mods, the Wissota Superstocks, Midwest Modifieds and Street Stocks.

Also, the Sling Shot races are also taking place this Saturday at Deer Creek Speedway. I had the chance to get behind the wheel of these way-cool Sling Shot cars last year and take a couple of laps around the track.

(And if your memory is really good, you might recall how I ended up beating-- albeit inadvertently -- 9-year-old Evalyn Louise in our special 5 lap Sling Shot race.
