I was helping my brother in law move some furniture out of his store room over the weekend when I noticed a box of cassette tapes sitting on the shelf. They looked so quaint, and yet so... ancient. When was the last time anyone listened to music on tape?!?

Ahh, technology, it keeps on moving, doesn't it? And while everything now is all digital, back in the not-too-distant past, our audio and visual world revolved around tape. From cassette tapes to VHS video tapes, they were woven into the very fabric of our every day lives. Now, though, if you stumble upon a box of old tapes, they appear almost pre-historic, don't they? Back in the day, though, they were the standard when it came to music. (Well, before the CD came along, that is...)

And, if you have kids younger than, oh, 12, they probably have no idea what a Walkman is or how a cassette tape even works. Like the kids in this video...
