The shocking death of Prince last Thursday has had many Minnesotans paying tribute to the 80's icon. And the Twins are no exception. Check out how they're honoring Prince Monday night-- and all season long.

When the news first broke the Prince had passed away, even though the team was on the road in Washington, the video scoreboard and ribbon boards at Target Field were awash in purple through the day Thursday. And according to this Fox Sports North story, the Twins are planning to honor the Minnesota music icon several ways during Monday night's game against Cleveland.

The story said tributes include all Twins players using Prince songs as their walk-song music (the music that plays after they're name is announced as they're walking up to home plate) Monday night, plus the team will again wear purple wristbands. There will also be a moment of silence for the rock star, as well, the story said.

The team is also encouraging fans to wear purple to Monday night's game. They'll be having Prince's tour DJ, Dudley D, spinning Prince tunes before the game, plus feature Prince songs and video clips from the movie, Purple Rain, throughout the game.

The Twins are also making Prince's 1982 classic, Little Red Corvette, their 7th inning stretch song (the song that plays after Take Me Out To The Ballpark) for the rest of the season at Target Field, as well.

As it turns out, that classic Prince song has already had an affiliation with the Twins, too-- as team veterans have been making Twins rookies learn the words to the song.
