Throwing out the first pitch at any baseball can be a nerve-wracking assignment. And, seeing as Monday night is Free Trading Card Night at the Rochester Honkers game, where one Quick Country listener will get to chance to toss out the first pitch, here's a clip of actor Jeff Bridges throwing-- or, bowling-- the first pitch "Lebowski style" at the LA Dodgers game. The worry, of course, when throwing out the first pitch at any baseball game, is that your throw won't make it over the plate and you'll be horribly embarrassed in front of all those people in the stands. Rap star 50 Cent threw out a notoriously bad first pitch earlier this year. But I've always enjoyed Bill Murray's first pitch, shown here from a 2012 minor league game, where he winds up-- and promptly throws the pitch into the stands:
