Curt St. John couldn’t be happier to join the Quick Country 96.5 morning show! Growing up, being on the radio is all he dreamed of doing. After a stint that required him to wear a bear suit to be the mascot for an AM station that aired Chicago Cubs games in his hometown of Wausau, Wisconsin, he did end up on the radio, working weekends and overnights while he earned his degree from UW-Eau Claire.
Curt next hosted a morning radio show in Eau Claire for 15 years, and after getting married, he and his wife moved to Rochester in April of 2012. Curt joined the Quick Country staff in February 2014, hosting the afternoon show, and moved to the morning show in May of 2016.
In his spare time, Curt likes to get out on the mountain bike, head out on a run, catch ‘House Hunters’ on TV and work on his next batch of home-brewed beer. Curt also is an avid Twins and Wild fan– although he still confesses to rooting for certain MLB, NFL and Big 10 football teams that hail from a state just east of here.
