It was announced a few weeks ago that there is a new restaurant coming to the site of the former Green Mill in northwest Rochester. And, sure enough, as progress continues, new signs on the building are now up.

The Crooked Pint Ale House has locations in both Apple Valley and downtown Minneapolis, and had announced earlier this year that it was opening a third Minnesota location here in Rochester, at 2723 Commerce Drive northwest.

While I'm always a fan of trying someplace new, of particular interest to me is that the Crooked Pint says it will be offering 30 different beers on-tap, including local and regional brews. That's awesome! Plus, its location in northwest Rochester means it's only about 3 miles from our house.

And, of course, I'm also a fan of the food. When we last told you about the opening of the Crooked Pint, the owners indicated the food available would be "‘upscale pub fare,’ like stuffed burgers, homemade tater tots and stuffed pickles." Sounds great-- I can't wait to try it. It's supposed to open to the public on April 21st.
