So just who is the most famous person born here in Rochester?

Well, according to the Rochester, Minnesota page on Facebook, that honor would go to actress Lea Thompson. At least, I think it would -- she's listed first, anyway. She's pretty famous, alright -- having starred in the 'Back To The Future' movies, in addition to several other movies in the 80's. (Remember the movie 'Howard The Duck'?) She also starred in the 90's TV show, 'Caroline in the City', and competed on 'Dancing with the Stars' last year.

Rounding out the rest of the top five famous Rochesterites (I think that's what you call someone born here in Rochester), according to Facebook, there's author José Argüelles (whom, I'm afraid to say I've not heard of); actress Sheree J. Wilson, who appeared on 'Dallas' and 'Walker, Texas Ranger'; tennis star Bethanie Mattek-Sands; and Mark Stuart, of the NHL's Winnipeg Jets.

When you click further on the page, it lists 52 other famous folks born right here in the Med City -- including the Vikings' Marcus Sherels, as well as former NHL-er Shjon Podein and former NFL-er and singer, Ben Utecht.

But, not being a Rochester native myself (my hometown of Wausau, Wisconsin doesn't have a ton of famous natives, aside from current Yahoo CEO Melissa Mayer; and a former high school classmate of mine, Lee Ann Slaby, who appeared on 'Survivor: Vanuatu'), so I'm wondering if the list is missing anyone.

Who's the most famous Rochesterite you know?
