The Muppet Show was one of my favorite shows when I was growing up, and now there's a new show starring the Muppets set to air this fall. But how did they convince ABC to go ahead with the show? Take a look.

Yes, in this video we weren't supposed to see, here's the pitch the Muppets pulled off that showed the brass at ABC they should go ahead with the show. (Actually, it's a clever video promoting the new show-- which actually looks pretty funny. And seeing as Disney now owns both the Muppets and ABC, I'm surprised a show starring the Muppets hasn't already been in the prime time line-up...)
