Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A traffic crash Monday afternoon snarled traffic on South Broadway in Rochester, but it looked a lot worse than it really was.

A semi truck hauling scrap metal overturned on the southbound lanes of Highway 63 just south of the Highway 52 interchange shortly before 3 PM. The scrap metal in the trailer of the truck included several scrapped cars, which spilled out onto the roadway and into the median.

For many passing motorists, it must have appeared the cars had been crushed by the truck during the crash. Thankfully, that was not the case, but the crash severely disrupted traffic in the area and it could take hours to clean-up the mess.
