Having worked in the media now for over 26 years, I'm well aware that technical difficulties can, and often do, appear at the most inopportune times. It's just a fact. So, it's always good to have a back-up plan, like a spare microphone or cord, or extra batteries when you're on-location doing a broadcast. But what do you do if you're singing the U.S. national anthem before a Maple Leaf/Nashville Predator game in Toronto and the sound system fails? Turns out, you don't really have to do much of anything-- the fans will take care of it for you!
