We've all heard that Saturday's Powerball jackpot is at an all-time with an estimated $700 million up for grabs -- and officials think it could even get bigger before the drawing, perhaps even getting close to $800 million. Here's what you could buy with that amount.

Now, even if you were the sole winner of the $800 million jackpot, you wouldn't take home that much, of course. If you take the lump sum payout, you don't get the full amount. Then, Uncle Sam's going to take about 25% right off the bat, too, plus the state of Minnesota will take a chunk of change. But, just to put things in perspective, here are some things you could buy with $800 million:

  • The Minnesota Timberwolves ($625 million)
  • The Minnesota Twins ($500 million)

That's not too bad, even if it's not too realistic. Like I said, it's more likely, after taxes, that you'd have more like $200 or $300 million. What would that buy you?

  • 4 Gulfstream C650’s ($70 million each).
  • 43 undeveloped private islands off the coast of Dubai.
  • 128 Lamborghini LaFerrari’s (at $1.3 million each).
  • 1,790,000 airline tickets (based on average price).
  • 116,000,000 medium 2-topping pizzas from Dominos.
  • 174,000,000 Wendy’s 4 for $4 combo meals.

Ah, it's nice to dream, isn't? Even if the odds are NOT forever in your favor. Good luck!
