Our dog, Chance, is 9-year old Beagle-mix who LOVES food. I mean, Chance REALLY loves his food-- and anyone else's, too, as it turns out.

Just last Friday, he helped himself to an entire wedge of bleu cheese-- he grabbed it right out of the grocery bag, ran off to his crate and proceeded to eat the entire thing-- wrapper and all.

Then, as if that wasn't bad enough, on Saturday he helped himself to the entire box of Thin Addictives. (They're kind of like a cracker, but they're sweet, so they're also kind of like a cookie.)  We'd left the box sitting by our garage door when he went out to dinner Saturday, and when we got home, we found the box torn open and 20 different plastic wrappers strewn around the house. That's an entire pound of crackers Chance had downed. Keep in mind he only weighs 35 pounds! (Well, he's supposed to weigh LESS than that, but he recent exploits are not helping his weight loss...)

And he, not surprisingly, didn't show any signs of illness from eating either one. It reminds of my friend's dog, who once knocked a glass casserole dish off the counter, and ate not only the casserole that was in the dish, but ALL of the pieces of glass that shattered when the dish hit the ground, as well-- and also wasn't any worse for wear!

What's the weirdest thing-- or most food-- YOUR dog has ever eaten?
