So, if I told you a famous Minnesota native was busy earlier this week shooting scenes for the upcoming SyFy TV movie, 'Sharknado 3,' who would you think it might be? My guess would have been former Gov. Jesse Ventura, but nope, it's not him. So who is it?

Turns out, it's former Minnesota representative Michelle Bachmann. Really! According to BringMeTheNews.com, even though Bachmann isn't in office any more, she will reportedly play herself-- while still in Congress-- in the upcoming movie, which will air the the SyFy channel this July. Bachmann was spotted shooting scenes for the movie earlier this week in Washington, D.C.

The story also says "...Bachmann will be reporting to billionaire Mark Cuban, playing the president, as well as a vice president played by prominent conservative commentator Ann Coulter."

This is the third Sharknado movie, which stars noted Hollywood B-list celebrities like Ian Ziering, Tara Reid, Bo Derek, Chris Jericho and Jerry Springer. The series, which has become a cult-favorite, is so over the top, according to fans, it's fun to watch. Here's a sneak peak...
