Alan Jackson Plans Nation-Wide 2019 Tour With Randy Houser, William Michael Morgan
Buckle up, Alan Jackson fans: The country superstar has announced new headlining arena and amphitheater dates across the country for 2019, with plans to perform a vast swath of hits from his three-decade career. The fun will kick off on Jan. 25 in Louisville, Ky.
During his time on the road, Jackson will bring country stalwart Randy Houser as well as William Michael Morgan, a promising up-and-comer in the format, to keep the traditional country sound rocking each and every night. Both supporting artists bring fresh and exciting material to the trek: Houser plans to release his new album Magnolia in January alongside an accompanying film, and Morgan has spent the fall sharing new track after new track, giving fans the opportunity to show which songs they like the most as he prepares to release his sophomore studio album.
Jackson has a history of helping to break out deserving rising artists on his tours and at his shows, and he'll continue that legacy on his 2019 tour. In addition to the two named supporting acts, several of the country icon's tour stops will include brief performances from some of his favorite of the singer-songwriters who have played at his bar and honky-tonk, AJ's Good Time Bar, in downtown Nashville, giving many of those artists their first opportunities to play in front of a large crowd. Jackson's previous opening acts include now-superstars like Brad Paisley, LeAnn Rimes, Sara Evans and Chris Young, as well as newer acts such as Lauren Alaina and Jon Pardi.
Many dates of the 2019 tour go on sale on Dec. 14, with more stops still to be added. For ticketing and VIP package information, as well as to stay up to date on the tour, head over to Jackson's website.
