Bones Found Near Marion Not Human

Marion, MN (KROC-AM News) - Tests have confirmed a set of bones found in rural Olmsted County Sunday were not human.

They were found wrapped in some women’s clothing items in a ditch along I-90 near Marion.

The Sheriff’s Office says it’s believed “the bones were from a dog that was wrapped within the clothing.”

It’s suspected the bones may have been there for at least two years.
