Does Thomas Rhett’s New Song Sound Like a Classic?

In releasing his latest tune, Thomas Rhett gave credit to the songwriters of a popular classic song. I totally see why. Do you? 

With artists getting sued left and right for the slightest similarities, Thomas Rhett decided to play it safe, rather than sorry. The new song was just released. He said he could hear how it sounded like the classic 1970's hit "Low Rider" by WAR, and instead of dealing with a lawsuit in the future, he decided to credit their seven songwriters as well. What do you think? Can you hear the similarities?

Apparently the guys from War aren't going to get paid for the song, but they get credit.
