Fun Things You Can Do Without Leaving Minnesota During Spring Break
If you're looking to get away for spring break you can fly right out of Rochester to a warm sunny location. Sun Country now has direct flights from the Rochester International Airport to popular destinations like Phoenix and Fort Myers. But, you don't have to board a plane to have some spring break fun with your family.

Fun Things You Can In Minnesota During Spring Break
Plan a trip to the Minnesota Zoo to check out some amazing animals. Tickets are only $13.95 for children and $19.95 for adults. On its website, the Zoo reminds people to plan in advance: "For the best guest experience, Minnesota Zoo will be limiting the number of visitors per day. Online tickets are required for all guests, including Minnesota Zoo members (free) and children two and under (free)."
Explore The Outdoors
We're lucky to have a ton of trails in Rochester, but if want to get your feet dirty you should explore some of the beautiful State Parks in southeast Minnesota. There are 9 within an hour of Rochester.
You could spend a day checking out Minnehaha Falls park in St Paul. And, if waterfalls are your thing you could travel around the area to see even more. There are 8 breathtaking waterfalls that are just a short drive from Rochester.
The Science Museum of Minnesota is open 9a-5p Sunday-Thursday and 9a-8p on Friday and Saturday. Tickets are very affordable and there is a ton of cool stuff to see. On their site they explain, "8.5 acres of exhibits and activities with boundless opportunities to explore and learn for all ages"
