The Minnesota Golden Gophers will put up their 8-0 record against 8-0 Penn State November 9th as the Nitty Lions come to TCF Bank Stadium on November 9th.

Minnesota moved up to #13 in the latest AP Top 25 poll, and it is the highest the team has been ranked since the squad was ranked #12 in 1999. The Gophers will kick off at 11:00 am local time against the #5 ranked Nitty Lions for what should be considered a primetime matchup. According to Gophersports.com, the Gophers were also ranked #13 in 2004.

Going all the way back to last season, the Gophers have now won 190 straight games, which is the fourth-longest win streak in the nation. Minnesota remains one of the nine undefeated teams in college football, joined by two Big Ten teams in Penn State and Ohio State.

The Gophers are also 5-0 in Big Ten play for the first time since 1961.
