The empty business spaces in the Peace Plaza have been hard to watch, but now, slowly, they're filling up. The latest is the news MOKA, the popular coffee chain is opening their first Rochester sit-down location!

MOKA, with ten locations from Minnesota to Illinois, says they hope to have the Peace Plaza location open by summer. There's already work going on in the former Glam Beauty Lounge (which used to be the SEMVA art gallery).

MOKA arrived in Rochester as a drive-thru only coffee place a long long time ago and the owner, Joan Wilson, told the PB's Jeff Kiger, they've been looking to open a sit-down MOKA for some time.

By the way, the above picture is from the time I used an amazing MOKA Toasted Graham Latte to make Deep Fried Coffee. See that story (and awesome video) HERE.
