This past Saturday evening I attended the 2nd stop on the Eric Church 'Holdin My Own Tour' at the Denny Sanford Center in Sioux Falls, SD. He's set to play to a SOLD OUT crowd at the Target Center this coming  Friday evening.

My 'Quick' Recap from Sioux Falls: This show was the most emotionally charged performance I have ever seen this man deliver. Twice, during 'Three Year Old' & the encore song of 'Those I've Loved' I believe 'Chief' himself had everything he could do to keep his emotions from spilling over. SOLD OUT SHOW, the arena was rockin', and both performer and audience were joined at the hip. Who could ask for more? Oh yes.....37 songs split into two sets, that went well over three hours.

Eric Church played all the hits, but it was the lesser known, deeper cuts that really made the show for me, along with thousands of other Church Choir Fan Club members. One in particular, which by the way, was the evening's encore' song (Those I've Loved from the 'Carolina' Album) was the first time I've ever seen it performed LIVE! He also did a remake of 'Two Pink Lines', and dug deep into the 'Sinners Like Me' album for 'Livin' Part of Life', and 'What I Almost Was'. Eric is promising a different set list every night. So far all three shows has also featured a local school choir to assist on his opening song 'Mistress Named Music' from his most recent 'Mr Misunderstood' release, the CMA Album Of The Year.

By the way, this would be my 21st LIVE Eric Church show. Up next, Des Moines on Thurs, Minneapolis on Fri, & then  Omaha in April on this #HoldinMyOwnTour . More after that? Probably!
