Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) -Jury selection was wrapped up Tuesday for a Rochester man’s second trial on a second-degree murder charge stemming from a fatal shooting in January of last year. 26-year-old Alexander Weiss was brought to trial on the same charge earlier this year and testified he was acting in self-defense when he shot 17-year-old Muhammed Rahim in the chest during a confrontation that followed a minor traffic crash.

The jury in that trial was unable to reach a verdict and a mistrial was declared. Court officials have indicated the second trial is expected to run into next week.
