Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Subscribers to the Rochester Post Bulletin newspaper will soon be getting less bang for their buck.

Post Bulletin publisher Randy Chapman made the announcement in Saturday’s edition.

“ As of Monday, we'll no longer publish a print edition on major holidays. This will allow just about all of our employees and carriers a chance to be home with family and friends on those holidays.”

Chapman added that the newspaper’s offices will not be open Memorial Day.

According to a Post Bulletin article, it “is the largest evening newspaper in the state and the largest daily newspaper in southeastern Minnesota. We cover 60 communities and seven counties with an average daily readership of more than 70,000 and more than 80,000 for the weekend edition.”
