He's been self-quarantined at the Governor's Mansion in St. Paul the last week, but it was about a year ago while here in Rochester, Gov. Tim Walz wore the most Minnesota socks ever!

Gov. Tim Walz has been in office here in Minnesota since January of 2019. Lately, of course, he's been just a wee bit busy signing executive orders that direct Minnesota's response to the ongoing coronavirus. (And, I think he's been doing a heckuva job, btw, offering, calm, instructive and empathetic leadership during these trying times!)

But it was on a trip down to here to Rah-Rah-Rochester a little over a year ago that Minnesota's 41st governor was sporting the most Land of 10,000 Lakes socks ever. They were spotted by at a meeting regarding healthcare in Minnesota by ABC-6 News reporter Alice Keefe. She snapped a pic and posted it on her Twitter page a year ago, well before anyone had ever even heard of COVID-19 or the coronavirus.

Check out the picture below. Of fer cute! You betcha those are some genuine Minnesota socks, don't-cha know! I'd totally wear a pair of those-- I wonder where the governor got them. And, I wonder if he's still wearing them these days. (He no doubt is, as he seems to be Minnesota's biggest cheerleader, whether he's wearing a U of M hat or sweatshirt or these North Star State socks!
