Rochester Kids Eat For Free This Summer
Rochester Public Schools want to ensure that nobody goes hungry this summer. Got a crazy work day, but the kiddos are home? Send them to school to eat a FREE lunch and/or breakfast with their summer meal program. There will also be a mobile food truck serving free meals. But wait, there's more - parents and older siblings can eat too! Anyone over 18 will be charged $2.30 for breakfast and $4.05 for lunch.
Several schools will be serving up hot meals most of the summer Monday through Friday. The schools participating: Franklin elementary, Gage elementary, Jefferson elementary, Elton Hills elementary, Riverside elementary, Sunset Terrace elementary, Friedell middle school, John Adams middle school, Mayo high school, and Rochester ALC.
