Rochester Soccer Coach Arraigned on Criminal Child Sex Charges

Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) – A Rochester man who has been heavily involved in coaching soccer was arraigned Friday on charges of having sex with one of his juvenile players.

Charged with one count each of 1st and 3rd-degree criminal sexual conduct was 31-year-old Dustin Beckman. His conditional bail was set at $40,000 and he was ordered to attend an evidentiary hearing June 20th.

According to the criminal complaint, Beckman began a sexual relationship with the girl in July 2016 when she was 15-years-old. The girl told investigators the relationship continued through the end of 2017.

Beckman has also been charged with inappropriately touching a 14-year-old girl last December while he was coaching at Dover-Eyota High School. The girl told investigators it happened on two occasions while she was working out at the school. He is facing one count each of 2nd degree and 4th-degree criminal sexual conduct in that case.

Beckman is also facing a child pornography charge after investigators found evidence during a search of his home that corroborated his “sexual attraction to juvenile females.”
