Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) – Buttons for this year’s Rochesterfest are now on sale.

Mayor Kim Norton followed tradition by purchasing the first one during the kickoff event at City Hall.

 

The winner of the button design was announced during the event. Will Khammanh submitted a design that includes the Seneca Foods corn tower. He was given $500 for his effort.

It was also announced former Mayor Ardell Brede will be honored this year. He will serve as Grand Marshall of the Rochesterfest Grand Parade scheduled for June 29th.

Rochesterfest will run June 22 - 30 with major events held at Soldiers Field Park.
