He conquered 2nd Street in Rochester Minnesota with happiness and fun, and then took over Facebook and helped so many more people find joy, and now he's on TikTok! 2nd Street Joe sure has become a wonderful symbol of Rochester's love.

According to the Facebook page that brought Joe to ALL of us, Second Street Waving Guy—Joe Johnson:

Quite a few people wanted to see Joe on TikTok, so we are giving it a shot. The name can and will be changed on Oct. 30th per TikTok guidelines. No offense intended.

Entering the land of TikTok, Joe Johnson could be catapulted across the world to brighten and amplify Joe's message of kindness to all. I want to reiterate something in the quote above regarding Joe's current handle, "thewavinglunatic." It cannot be changed until the end of the month, but it will be changed.

The house below is located at 930 8th St SW in Rochester, Minnesota, It is described as one of the "most sought after" properties in town, but has been on the market for over 80 days, so maybe the price is just a little too high for potential buyers. The home was constructed in 1922 and is listed for more than $2-million.
