Instead of the Land of 10,000 Lakes, perhaps Minnesota should be known as the Land of 10,000... pick-ups.

That's because, according to this new survey of the Most Popular Cars of 2020 by ISeeCars.com, pick-up trucks-- and one in particular-- are once again the Most Popular Cars here in Minnesota. Their latest study looked at over 19 million vehicle sales for 2020 to determine the most popular used and new cars across the United States by metro area and state.

And, yep, the pick-up truck is once again on top both here in Minnesota and across the country, the survey said. In fact, pick-ups make up 3 of the top 5 most popular cars for 2020. And this year, the pick-up truck that's the most popular across the country is also numero uno here in Minnesota. Yes, the Ford F-150 takes the top spot in the 2020 Most Popular Cars survey in 22 different states-- including here in Minnesota.

That's a slight difference from the 2019 ISeeCars survey says the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 was the most popular here in the North Star State. The change isn't a huge surprise this year, though, seeing as the Ford F-150 was right behind the Silverado as the number-two Most Popular Car (or, more accurately, vehicle) in Minnesota last year. This year, while the Silverado is #2, it's followed by the Toyota RAV4, the Honda CRV and the Dodge Ram 1500.

While I'm not surprised that a pick-up is most popular here in Minnesota, I am a little surprised more crossover SUV's aren't in the top five. I seem to see some type of SUV all the time here while driving here in southeast Minnesota. Did YOUR ride make the 2020 Most Popular Cars List?
