Two People Seriously Injured After Fiery Highway 30 Wreck
Rock Dell Township, MN (KROC-AM News) - Two people suffered life-threatening injuries after a two-vehicle wreck on Highway 30 west of Stewartville Tuesday evening that saw both vehicles start on fire.
The Minnesota State Patrol reports that a Ford Fusion, driven by 26-year-old Melissa Debus of Stewartville, was traveling southbound on Olmsted County Road 15 around 5:15 p.m. when the driver failed to stop at the intersection and struck the side of a Pontiac Grand Am driven by 41-year-old Daniel Kropp of Rochester. After the wreck, both vehicles came to rest in the ditch and started on fire.
Both drivers were transported to Regions Hospital in St. Paul. The Stewartville Fire Department extinguished the fires.
